- Check you are going to have a stable, good quality Internet connection.
- Get a tripod or a support for the camera. A wobbly video is often difficult to watch and distracting.

- Choose the right technology for your stream. There are several platforms to consider, Zoom, Facebook, YouTube as well as others. Be sure to investigate the limitations fully, for example in order to livestream on YouTube you need to have a verified YouTube account, to use zoom over 40 minutes you need to have a paid subscription.
- Check your privacy settings. Make sure that your settings restrict your livestream to those you want to participate.

- Ensure your guests are muted – if you are using a technology like zoom make sure you have control of the participants mute buttons! You don’t want the ceremony interrupted by background noise.
